Feedback and Marking
1. How does the Feedback and Marking Programme work?
- Visit the Marking and Feedback page
-Select your chosen subject
-Choose Your Coupon Programme
Select a coupon programme that suits your needs. For example:
Bronze Coupon Programme: 30 coupons, with 10 coupons required for one essay marking
Each subject has tailored coupon options.
Purchase Your Coupons
Once you’ve decided on your coupon programme, click the ‘Buy Now’ button to access our secure PayPal link.
Send the relevant funds, labeling your payment as:
"(Your selected coupon programme), (Subject and Level)"
Example: Bronze Coupon Programme, Business A Level.
Submit Your Work for Marking
Email your work to marking.UniTutoruk@gmail.com with:
Proof of payment.
Any requests for a specific tutor (e.g., Business A Level, Bronze Coupon Programme, Tutor – Tommy Robinson).
2. What happens next?
If You’re an Existing Customer:
You will be referred to the existing WhatsApp group you’re already in, where you can exchange your work and feedback with your marker.
If you’d like to switch markers, simply specify this in your email, and a new WhatsApp group will be created for you.
If You’re a New Customer:
A WhatsApp group will be created with your assigned marker.
All exchanges of work and feedback will occur within the WhatsApp group, ensuring efficient and personal communication.
Expect to receive marked work and feedback within 48 hours.
If we fail to meet this deadline, you are eligible for a full refund.

We understand that many students, especially as exam season approaches, simply want to practice past paper questions and receive high-quality feedback. Our programme is designed to meet this need, allowing you to focus on writing and learning how to improve.

4. Who Will Be Marking My Work?
Your work will be marked by a trusted tutor from a top UK university who knows exactly what it takes to achieve top grades in your A Levels, having done so themselves.
All markers are registered tutors on the UniTutorsUK platform.
Every tutor is personally vetted by us to ensure quality and reliability.
5. How Is My Work Marked?
Our marking process is feedback-driven to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.
Marking Range: You will typically receive a range of three marks within which your work would likely fall, rather than a specific grade. (This is primarily for essay based questions)
Detailed Feedback: Tutors provide clear, written feedback outlining:
Elements of your work that were strong.
Areas where improvements are needed.
Interactive Communication: If anything in your feedback is unclear, don’t hesitate to ask your tutor for clarification.
6. Who Can Use This Service?
Our Feedback and Marking Programme is open to anyone, not just those registered as tutees or students on the UniTutors platform. Whether you’re preparing independently, studying elsewhere, or simply need professional feedback, we’re here to help.
7. How Do I Know My Work Is Secure?
All submissions are handled through our secure email system, and your data is protected under GDPR compliance.

For Parents & Students
1. How do I select the right tutor for my child?
We make finding the perfect tutor easy. Simply press the find a tutor button on the home page or at the top of the screen, press on your desired subject, select the tutor (or multiple if you want a free trial session with a number of different tutors to get a gauge on which is the right fit), book a free trial session on your chosen day and time, and await our response (usually within 24 hours) detailing the trial session and giving you the meeting link. If there are any issues or you aren’t satisfied with the performance of your tutor then don’t worry! then we make the switching process easy and discrete. AT UniTutorsUK we run a ‘no hard feelings’ policy. our main aim is to get our students into top Universities, and getting the right match is an essential part of this goal.
2. What subjects do your tutors offer?
Our tutors cover a wide range of A Level subjects, including Mathematics, Economics, Business, Philosophy and religion (Theology), History (depending on the period), Geography, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. If your subject is not listed, please contact us, as we are continually expanding our tutor base.
3. Are the tutoring sessions in-person or online?
We offer both options! Many of our tutors provide flexible online sessions using video conferencing tools, while others may be available for in-person tutoring, depending on location. During the sign-up process, you can specify your preference.
4. How is progress tracked during tutoring sessions?
Our tutors provide regular feedback to both students and parents. They set specific goals at the beginning of the tutoring relationship and track progress towards those goals over time.
5. What is the cost of tutoring?
Tutoring costs vary depending on the tutor’s experience and the subject level. When viewing tutor profiles, you’ll see their hourly rates listed. We believe in providing top-quality education at competitive prices, and our team can help find a tutor within your budget. However it must be said that typically our tutors will fall into the £20-£25 range, which is to the lower end of the market for a just as good, if not better tutoring experience!
6. What if the tutor isn’t a good fit for my child?
If you feel that the tutor isn’t the right match for your child, we’re here to help. Simply contact us, and we’ll assist you in finding a more suitable tutor. Our aim is to ensure that every student has a positive and productive tutoring experience.
For Tutors
1. How do I apply to become a tutor?
To become a tutor, simply fill out our online application form. We ask for details about your academic background, the subjects you wish to tutor, and any relevant experience. After submitting your application, we will review it and get back to you with the next steps.
2. What is the payment process?
Tutors are paid directly through our platform on a per-session basis. Sessions are non refundable after 24 hours in the case of a cancellation, but any rearranging of a session is free. Payment is secure and reliable, with funds transferred directly to your bank account.
3. Can I set my own tutoring schedule?
Yes! We offer complete flexibility to our tutors. You can set your availability to match your university schedule and personal commitments. We value the importance of balancing your studies and tutoring.
4. What if I have to cancel or reschedule a session?
We understand that unexpected events can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask that you give at least 24 hours' notice to the student. This allows both parties to find a suitable alternative time. In the case of frequent cancellations without notice, we may review your participation in the program.
5. How many students can I tutor at once?
We encourage tutors to manage their workload based on their availability and academic commitments. While there is no limit to how many students you can tutor, we recommend taking on a manageable number to ensure quality and attention for each student.
6. Do I need prior tutoring experience?
While prior tutoring or teaching experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We welcome undergraduates with strong academic records and a passion for teaching. Our onboarding process will guide you through the expectations and best practices for tutoring.
General Queries
1. What is the duration of each tutoring session?
Each session is typically 50 minutes long, though this can be adjusted based on the needs of the student. Tutors and students/parents can mutually agree on the most effective session length.
2. How do I know if my child is making progress?
Tutors regularly monitor students' understanding and performance. Many provide feedback after each session and can offer formal progress reports if requested. We encourage open communication between tutors, students, and parents to ensure ongoing progress.
3. How are tutors selected?
All tutors undergo a rigorous selection process. We carefully review their academic achievements, interview them to assess their communication skills, and conduct background checks to ensure they meet our high standards. Only the top candidates are accepted into our program.
