For Tutors
1. How do I apply to become a tutor?
To become a tutor, simply fill out our online application form. We ask for details about your academic background, the subjects you wish to tutor, and any relevant experience. After submitting your application, we will review it and get back to you with the next steps.
2. What is the payment process?
Tutors are paid directly through our platform on a per-session basis. Sessions are non refundable after 24 hours in the case of a cancellation, but any rearranging of a session is free. Payment is secure and reliable, with funds transferred directly to your bank account.
3. Can I set my own tutoring schedule?
Yes! We offer complete flexibility to our tutors. You can set your availability to match your university schedule and personal commitments. We value the importance of balancing your studies and tutoring.
4. What if I have to cancel or reschedule a session?
We understand that unexpected events can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask that you give at least 24 hours' notice to the student. This allows both parties to find a suitable alternative time. In the case of frequent cancellations without notice, we may review your participation in the program.
5. How many students can I tutor at once?
We encourage tutors to manage their workload based on their availability and academic commitments. While there is no limit to how many students you can tutor, we recommend taking on a manageable number to ensure quality and attention for each student.
6. Do I need prior tutoring experience?
While prior tutoring or teaching experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We welcome undergraduates with strong academic records and a passion for teaching. Our onboarding process will guide you through the expectations and best practices for tutoring.
