I am 21-year-old third year university student at the University of Edinburgh studying an undergraduate in Biological Sciences (Biological Chemistry). Ever since I was a young girl I have been fascinated in the ‘hows?’ and ‘whys?’ of life (I was a very annoying toddler!). When I found biology and chemistry I was immediately enthralled! I love connecting science to the world around us, and in my previous tutoring experience have loved finding less stereotypical methods of teaching traditionally ‘chalkboard’ subjects. Showing the fluidity and excitement behind the study of Biology and Chemistry even at lower levels. Aside from my love of my subject, I am an outgoing and charismatic individual (not all just lab coats and atoms!). I love fashion and making clothes in my free time, I also am an avid (but very mediocre) runner and am in the midst of training for my second marathon. All in all, I promise to provide an energetic and tailored approach to tutoring, aiming to find a way of tutoring that maximises enjoyment and results for my tutees.
